About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Analyst with expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, executing test plans, identifying defects, building automation solutions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Execute automated and manual test suites and analyze results.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct API and database testing.
- Ensure software quality through QA best practices and process improvements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in Manual Testing and SDLC/STLC processes.
- Minimum 2+ years of Automation Testing experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with API Testing using Postman, REST Assured, or Swagger.
- Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
- Experience with SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience testing SaaS, cloud-based, and microservices applications.
- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter) and security testing principles.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
