We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce Testing and Playwright Automation Framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing robust automation solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce-based applications and integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Validate Salesforce customizations such as Apex Classes, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Components, and integrations.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, track, and report defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
- Develop and execute API automation tests using REST/SOAP services.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and security testing where required.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and release activities.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive automation best practices across teams.
Required Skills
Automation Testing
- Strong experience in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Expertise in automation framework design and development.
- Experience with functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
Salesforce Testing
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture.
- Experience testing:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Lightning Components
- Salesforce Integrations
- Knowledge of Salesforce Objects, Workflows, Validation Rules, Profiles, and Permissions.
CI/CD & Tools
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Exposure to performance testing tools.
- Salesforce Certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder, or related certifications).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
- Proven experience in Salesforce testing and Playwright automation.
