🚀 About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to support the development of complex, business-critical systems in the banking domain, with a strong preference for market risk or risk analytics experience.
This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strong quantitative skills, and experience working in cloud-native, containerized environments.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and services
- Contribute to architecture and development of scalable cloud-based solutions
- Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Collaborate with quant/risk analysts, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, code reviews, and production support
- Apply mathematical/statistical methods to solve complex problems
- Ensure adherence to best practices in performance, scalability, and security
✅ Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of Python development experience
- Strong experience in Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with:
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience in banking projects, preferably in market risk or risk analytics
- Strong foundation in mathematics and/or statistics
- Expertise in Python analytics libraries:
- NumPy
- Pandas
- SciPy
🌟 Nice to Have
- Experience with financial risk models / financial data systems
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience in regulated environments (Banking/Finance)
- Strong communication skills & mentorship abilities
