TCS is hiring for Senior Python Developer

Experience - 10 to 15 years of experience

Location - Bangalore/ Chennai / Hyderabad/ Kolkata

Education - 15 years of full time education

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based applications and automation scripts
• Deploy Python applications using CI/CD pipelines across environments
• Work closely with DevOps teams on build, release, and deployment automation
• Implement and manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Perform troubleshooting, RCA, and production support activities
• Ensure adherence to security, coding standards, and DevOps best practices
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including QA, Infra, and Security
• Support continuous improvement of DevOps and automation frameworks

Must‑Have Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Python development (7+ years)
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django / Flask
• Strong exposure to DevOps practices and tools
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar)
• Experience with Docker and container platforms
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Strong understanding of Linux / Unix systems
• Experience with Git‑based version control
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible / Terraform / Chef
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, ELK)
• Knowledge of security and compliance in enterprise environments
• BFSI domain experience
