Role Description
The Senior Python Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs using Python. Key responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and scalable code, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other system components. You will be expected to mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure product excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Solid understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including code versioning tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and containerization tools like Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to mentor junior team members effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
- Previous experience in health tech or enterprise-level applications is a plus.
- A deep understanding of scalable system architecture and performance optimization techniques is desirable.
