For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Senior Python AI / GenAI Engineer.
We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI/ML and GenAI applications using Python;
- Build and deploy LLM-powered solutions including RAG, multi-agent systems, and autonomous AI agents;
- Develop Document Intelligence pipelines (PDF, Office files, structured/unstructured data);
- Implement semantic search and vector-based retrieval;
- Design and deploy intelligent chatbots with contextual memory;
- Develop Agent AI systems using LangChain and LangGraph;
- Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) based integrations for secure AI-tool interaction;
- Build REST APIs using FastAPI/Flask for AI services;
- Integrate OpenAI/Azure OpenAI and enterprise data sources;
- Deploy AI applications on Azure/AWS with CI/CD and monitoring;
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +8 years of relevant experience;
- Strong proficiency in Python;
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Agent frameworks;
- Hands-on experience in RAG architectures and vector databases;
- Experience with OpenAI / Azure OpenAI APIs;
- Knowledge of Document Intelligence & NLP;
- Prompt engineering and LLM optimization;
- API development and microservices architecture;
- Cloud deployment experience (Azure preferred);
- Experience building enterprise AI copilots;
- Exposure to multi-agent orchestration systems;
- Knowledge of MCP architecture;
- Experience integrating AI with SharePoint/Dataverse;
- Understanding of AI governance and performance evaluation;
- Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and deployment of scalable applications is nice to have;
- Fluent in English;
