Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Canada for a Senior Purchase Manager. The Senior Purchase Manager will oversee procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role also involves monitoring market trends, maintaining inventory levels, analyzing procurement data, and providing insights to support decision-making. Close coordination with various departments to meet organizational goals will be a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, and Inventory Planning skills
- Strong Negotiation, Contract Management, and Cost Optimization capabilities
- Market Research, Data Analysis, and Trend Monitoring experience
- Proficiency in relevant procurement tools and software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role
- Knowledge of Canadian procurement regulations and international trade processes is a significant advantage
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent are a plus
