Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Senior Purchase Engineer. The Senior Purchase Engineer will handle day-to-day procurement processes, including purchase planning, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. The role involves vendor management, maintaining strong supplier relationships, analyzing purchasing trends, ensuring compliance with company policies, and optimizing procurement operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Orders
- Strong capabilities in Purchase Planning and executing strategies to streamline procurement
- Well-honed Analytical Skills with the ability to assess supplier performance and cost-benefit scenarios
- Experience with procurement tools and components is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain and inventory management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in automotive or EV manufacturing is mandatory.
