Job Description – Proposal Writer

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer with a strong background in Information Technology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting, structuring, and delivering high-quality proposals, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, that effectively communicate our technical capabilities and align with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, write, and edit technical proposals for IT solutions and services.
- Analyze RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to identify requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate with technical teams, sales, and subject matter experts to gather inputs and translate them into compelling proposal content.
- Ensure proposals are compliant, well-structured, and tailored to client needs.
- Maintain a repository of reusable proposal content, templates, and best practices.
- Work under tight deadlines to deliver accurate and persuasive documents.
- Present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in proposal writing within the Information Technology industry.
- Proven expertise in drafting responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and industry terminology.
- Excellent written communication, grammar, and formatting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and other documentation tools.
Preferred Attributes- Experience working with global clients and government tenders.
- Knowledge of proposal management tools and bid lifecycle processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to align proposals with branding guidelines.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
