Job Brief
Are you an experienced Proposal Manager with a passion for winning large EPC projects? We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our proposal and tendering activities for water and wastewater treatment projects.
In this role, you will work with engineering, procurement, project, and commercial teams to prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals. If you have strong leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge, and experience in the UAE/GCC market, this is a great opportunity to grow your career with a leading organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete proposal and tendering process for EPC projects.
- Review RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents to develop winning bid strategies.
- Prepare, review, and finalize technical and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, sales, and project teams.
- Review process designs, PFDs, P&IDs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Support bid/no-bid decisions with management.
- Ensure proposals meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and pre-award discussions.
- Conduct post-bid reviews and improve future proposal processes.
- Guide and mentor Proposal Engineers.
- Ensure all submissions are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in proposal and tender management.
- At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment EPC projects.
- Experience with technologies such as:
- Reverse Osmosis (RO)
- Ultra Filtration (UF)
- Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)
- Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
- Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
- Demineralization (DM)
- MBR
- MBBR
- SWRO (Seawater Reverse Osmosis)
- Experience in EPC projects for the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering, equipment selection, costing, and budgeting.
- Experience with UAE/GCC market costing is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Middle East industry standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, proposal software, and hydraulic/process calculation tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
