Role Description
The Senior Property Accountant will oversee and manage financial activities for properties within the portfolio, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and compliance. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, recording journal entries, monitoring property performance, and supporting audits. This is a full-time, on-site position located in New Delhi, requiring close collaboration with portfolio teams and financial operators to ensure efficient and accurate financial management.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and a solid understanding of core Accounting principles
- Knowledge of Finance concepts and their practical application in real estate settings
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools; advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus
- CPA/CA certification or equivalent is highly preferred
- Prior experience in real estate or private equity accounting is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
