About the Role
Lead end-to-end project planning and delivery of engineering initiatives on the EIQ agentic automation platform, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality releases in partnership with Product, Architecture, and Engineering leaders. This role requires hands-on project management across planning, execution, reporting, risk and change management, budget control, and people leadership in a low-code/no-code, AI-native product environment.
Role overview
EvoluteIQ’s EIQ agentic automation platform unifies process orchestration, AI/ML, RPA, Data and event-driven automation. As part of the Product Engineering team in Bengaluru, you will drive roadmap delivery and technical initiatives across backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, and platform engineering squads.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for EIQ platform features and technical initiatives, defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and detailed schedules across squads.
- Own project tracking and reporting through integrated plans, dashboards, and regular status updates for engineering, product, leadership, and customer stakeholders.
- Run Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and enforce SDLC and release-readiness best practices.
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues using structured RAID logs, with clear mitigation, contingency plans, and timely escalations.
- Drive structured change management for scope, timelines, and budgets with impact analysis, approvals, and transparent communication.
- Plan and manage project budgets and resource utilization, including capacity planning, allocation across squads, and optimization of internal and external resources.
- Partner with Engineering Managers to support performance management of team members, providing input to goals, feedback, and performance reviews based on delivery outcomes and behaviors.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, DevOps, and QA to plan complex technical work, test cycles, environments, and production releases with robust rollback strategies.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Implementation, and Support to plan hotfixes/patches and feed production learnings into future releases.
- Use AI- and automation-based project management tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps with AI assistants) to improve estimation, risk prediction, and communication.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative delivery culture through clear direction, feedback, and coaching for engineers and leads.
Required experience and skills
- 15–20 years of experience in software product development, including 8–10 years managing multi-squad engineering projects or programs.
- Strong hands-on expertise in project planning, execution tracking, status reporting, risk and issue management, and structured change control.
- Proven Agile delivery experience across backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams, with a track record of shipping complex releases on time and within budget.
- Deep working knowledge of Jira, MS Project, including boards, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Experience with low-code/no-code, workflow automation, integration platforms, or AI/ML products is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with distributed teams (India, UK, US and other regions).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe are desirable but not mandatory.
