Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional projects from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving project success by managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end project execution across multiple workstreams and teams
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Planning & Governance
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Establish project governance, reporting mechanisms, and communication plans
- Monitor and control project performance using KPIs and dashboards
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies clearly to leadership
- Facilitate decision‑making and resolve escalations effectively
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Implement corrective actions and contingency plans when needed
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide project team members and junior project managers
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performance team culture
- Coordinate with engineering, business, QA, vendors, and other partners
Financial & Vendor Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Oversee vendor performance, contracts, and deliverables
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements and best practices in project management
- Conduct post‑project reviews and ensure lessons learned are captured
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of project management experience, including large or complex projects
- Proven experience managing cross‑functional and distributed teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.)
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
- Experience in [Industry/Domain – e.g., IT, Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing]
- Exposure to enterprise tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar
