Senior Project Interior Designer – 15+ Years Experience
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with 15+ years of experience to lead independent interior design projects and play a key leadership role within our interior design vertical.
The ideal candidate should bring strong design sensibility, technical expertise, project leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams through all stages of a project from concept design to execution. This role requires a mature design professional who can independently manage client relationships, lead presentations, coordinate with consultants and vendors, and ensure that projects are delivered with design excellence, quality, and attention to detail. A background in Architecture with strong Interior Design experience would be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects independently from concept to completion.
- Develop strong design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, layouts, and detailed design presentations.
- Guide and mentor design teams, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and high-quality output.
- Oversee design development, working drawings, specifications, BOQs, material selections, and site coordination.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure design intent is maintained through all stages of execution.
- Review drawings, details, finishes, furniture, lighting, and material specifications.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team workflows.
- Contribute to the growth, structure, and design direction of the interior design vertical.
- Maintain high standards of design, documentation, coordination, and project delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design/ Architecture
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in interior design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and related presentation/rendering tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
