We are looking for a Civil Site Engineer responsible for BOQ preparation and tracking, material consumption monitoring, execution planning, quantity verification, and project progress reporting. The candidate will coordinate with contractors, consultants, procurement, billing, and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
BOQ & Quantity Management
- Prepare BOQ modules based on drawings and project scope.
- Prepare trade-wise, floor-wise, and activity-wise quantity trackers.
- Verify executed quantities against approved BOQ.
- Monitor quantity variations and maintain balance quantities.
- Coordinate with billing and QS teams for quantity verification.
Material Consumption & Reconciliation
- Track daily and monthly material consumption.
- Compare theoretical vs actual consumption.
- Prepare reconciliation reports for cement, steel, sand, blocks, tiles, MEP, and finishing materials.
- Monitor wastage, pilferage, and optimize material usage.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement for material tracking.
Execution Planning & Site Monitoring
- Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly execution plans.
- Monitor site progress against planned schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams for timely execution.
- Track RCC, masonry, finishing, and MEP activities.
- Identify delays and suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure execution quality as per approved drawings and specifications.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare DPR, DCR, MIS, progress trackers, and reconciliation reports.
- Maintain records of executed work, consumed material, and pending activities.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in site execution, BOQ, planning, or material management.
Required Skills
- BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Material reconciliation and consumption tracking.
- Construction execution planning and monitoring.
- MS Excel, AutoCAD, and reporting knowledge.
- Strong coordination and analytical skills.
Preferred Experience
- High-rise residential or redevelopment projects.
- RCC, finishing, and MEP execution tracking.
