Role Description The Senior Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading and overseeing engineering projects from concept through completion. The role involves planning project activities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring that engineering designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing technical documents and drawings, monitoring project progress, managing schedules and resources, and resolving engineering issues on site. The Senior Project Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, supervise junior engineers or technicians, and support quality control, commissioning, and handover activities. The role also requires regular reporting on project status, cost and risk management, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering and project execution processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, including experience with design review, technical analysis, and on-site implementation.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk assessment, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear reporting, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, along with experience in industrial or infrastructure projects, are beneficial.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with industry standards and codes, proficiency in engineering and project management software, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to work independently and lead teams on site.
