Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Project Engineer role based in Palsana. The Senior Project Engineer will lead end-to-end project execution for industrial heating systems and process equipment, including boilers, thermic fluid heaters, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels. Daily responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, and monitoring; coordinating with design, production, procurement, and quality teams; and ensuring projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, budgets, and timelines. The role involves reviewing engineering drawings and documents, preparing technical proposals, conducting site visits, resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning, and supporting customer acceptance. The Senior Project Engineer will also interact regularly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide clear updates, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong project engineering and project management skills, with proven experience leading industrial or process equipment projects from concept to commissioning.
- Proficiency in project planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking using relevant tools and methodologies.
- Solid background in Mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field); advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP/Prince2) are an advantage.
- Experience in heat exchangers, or pressure vessels, and familiarity with standards such as ASME, API, and TEMA is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, prioritize multiple projects, and adhere to safety and quality management systems.
