About the Role:
Passionate about robotics, automation, and deploying cutting-edge Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in real-world environments?
Botsync, Asia's Leading Robotics & Automation Solutions Provider, is looking for a Project Engineer (Robotics) to join our Projects team and lead the successful deployment of AMR solutions across customer sites in Asia.
What you'll do:
- Lead end-to-end deployment of AMR and robotics automation projects
- Install, configure, commission, and validate robotics systems at customer sites
- Develop simulation models to optimize system design, throughput, and deployment strategies
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across ROS navigation, PLCs, robotics hardware, and integrated software
- Support solution architecture, system integration, fleet orchestration, and deployment planning
- Deliver customer training and maintain commissioning documentation, including SAT reports and technical records
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable discipline
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering, robotics deployment, or industrial automation
- Hands-on experience with Linux and ROS for robot configuration and troubleshooting
- PLC exposure and ability to troubleshoot integrated automation systems
- Familiarity with ARM Cortex-based embedded hardware
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL for debugging, scripting, and log analysis
- Experience reading and working with layouts and designs in AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills at both system and hardware level
- Comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teams on-site
- Strong documentation discipline — checklists, reports, and commissioning records
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
