Role Description The Senior Project Associate – Livelihoods & CSR will lead and manage end-to-end implementation of livelihood and CSR projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. This full-time, on-site role based in Surat involves coordinating with corporate partners, government bodies, NGOs, and community stakeholders to design and deliver high-impact interventions. The role includes conducting field assessments, developing project proposals, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with partner requirements and CSR regulations. The Senior Project Associate will track project outcomes, prepare analytical reports and presentations, and support knowledge-sharing and best-practice documentation. The position also requires mentoring project teams, contributing to strategy development, and supporting business development efforts for new livelihood and CSR initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and coordination skills, including experience in planning, implementation, and monitoring of CSR or livelihood programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders such as corporate partners, government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.
- Experience in field-based work related to livelihoods, skill development, entrepreneurship, or community development.
- Proficiency in data collection, basic analysis, and report writing, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; working knowledge of local languages in Gujarat is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Rural Management, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Comfort with on-site work, frequent field visits, and travel as required for project operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools for project tracking and documentation.
- Prior experience in CSR consulting, impact projects, or working with corporate foundations is highly desirable.
