Role Description The Senior Project Architect – Architect Studio is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban, responsible for leading architectural projects from concept design through construction documentation and completion. This role involves developing architectural plans, coordinating BIM models, preparing and reviewing submittals, and ensuring compliance with building codes, sustainability standards, and client requirements. The Senior Project Architect collaborates closely with internal design teams, consultants, and contractors, oversees project schedules and deliverables, and supports quality control across all project phases. Daily responsibilities include guiding junior team members, participating in client meetings, resolving design and technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement in studio processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong architectural design and planning skills, with proven experience in Architecture for mid- to large-scale real estate projects.
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows to manage coordinated, accurate project documentation.
- Experience handling project Submittals, including review, coordination, and compliance with design intent and regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or comparable green building standards, with ability to integrate sustainability into design.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of building codes, construction practices, and materials relevant to urban projects.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in an on-site studio environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM platforms, and visualization tools).
- Experience in Apartments or Villa or Mater Plan or Plotted developments.
