Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Professor (Academic + Administration) at SAGE University, located in Indore. The Senior Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lectures, developing course materials, conducting scholarly research, mentoring students, and participating in various academic and administrative activities. The role also involves guiding postgraduate and doctoral research, contributing to curriculum development, and fostering an environment of academic excellence.
Qualifications
- Expertise in subject-specific teaching and research methodologies, including the ability to develop and deliver innovative coursework.
- Proven experience in research, publication, and securing research projects or grants in the relevant academic discipline.
- Proficiency in mentorship, academic counseling, and guiding graduate or doctoral-level research projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both academic and interdisciplinary discourse.
- Leadership and organizational skills to contribute to curriculum planning and institutional development.
- Doctorate or equivalent degree in a relevant field, with an extensive teaching and research portfolio preferred.
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in an academic setting.
- Familiarity with contemporary teaching tools, including LMS platforms and educational technologies, is an advantage.
