About the Role
Spinny is India's most trusted full-stack used car platform - operating 50+ hubs across 25 cities, serving over 2 lakh customers, with a fully digital buying experience that sets the standard for the category. This is a consumer product role - everything you build will be experienced directly by car buyers on Spinny's app and website. You will own the discovery and pre-intent stages of the demand funnel: from the moment a buyer lands on the platform, through search, browse, and listing engagement, up to the point of purchase intent. There are clear handoffs to the checkout and post-booking experience. This is a high-ownership role with a dedicated engineering and design pod. You will define the roadmap and be directly accountable for core demand metrics.
What You'll Do
– Own the product charter for Spinny's discovery and pre-intent buying funnel, define the vision, build the roadmap, and deliver through cross-functional execution.
– Build and improve consumer-facing discovery surfaces: search relevance, ranking, filters, personalized recommendations, and similar car suggestions using behavioral signals and inventory data.
– Own the car listing page experience - the most critical consumer surface in the funnel and drive structured experimentation to improve engagement, trust, and intent actions.
– Define, track, and improve funnel KPIs, search CTR, listing engagement rate, test drive intent rate and build a rigorous habit of post-launch analysis and iteration.
– Translate customer insights and behavioral data into a prioritized roadmap; spend time understanding buyer psychology, not just funnel metrics.
– Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science to ship high-quality consumer experiences and stay curious about how emerging technologies, including Gen AI, can improve how buyers find the right car.
What We're Looking For
– 5-8 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a consumer-facing product at a high-scale internet company.
– Proven experience shipping search, discovery, or marketplace features - you can point to a before/after on a metric you moved.
– Strong data fluency - you think in funnels, read drop-offs instinctively, and know the difference between a signal and noise in an experiment.
– Experience owning a product metric end-to-end, not just shipping features - accountability for outcomes is table stakes here.
– Clear, direct communicator who can align engineering, business, and design around a shared goal without needing a committee.
