BigBasket operates at the intersection of a consumer promise of 10-minute delivery and the supplier network that makes it possible. The consumer-facing product has matured significantly over the past few years. The seller side of the platform is where the next generation of investment is going.
Seller Experience is a priority charter for FY27 The goal is to build a world-class seller platform, one where vendors can manage their presence, catalogue, and performance with the same depth of tooling and intelligence that BigBasket brings to its consumer experience. This PM will own two closely related problem spaces: the seller platform itself, and the product catalogue infrastructure that underpins every SKU on BigBasket.
Seller Platform
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions
:
- Lead the discovery, design, and building of a unified self-serve seller platform covering PO management, new product introduction (NPI), returns handling, and finance visibility.
- Define self-serve experience across the full seller lifecycle.
- Build the analytics and intelligence layer that surfaces actionable data to sellers.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Category, and Ops.
Product Catalogue
- Own the end-to-end product catalogue lifecycle: NPI workflows, content upload, and quality governance.
- Define how product content is structured, validated, and maintained.
- Build and govern the feedback loop between content quality and consumer outcomes.
- Design the operating model for catalogue management.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a platform or B2B product.
- Demonstrable experience building seller, vendor, or supplier-facing systems.
- Background in catalogue, content operations, or data management products.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML product development.
