The Role:
Here's what you'll do every day as a Product Designer
- Create interactive prototypes in design sprints.
- Execute all visual design stages, from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualise original ideas to make complex design roadblocks simpler and more user-friendly.
- Actively participate in the workshop phase of our sprints and come up with innovative design solutions.
- Help team members with other aspects of running a sprint, such as stakeholder interviews, research, user testing and design documentation.
- Study and analyse data usage analytics to improve your designs.
- Present and defend your designs to peers and clients.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Assist with marketing and branding activities, as needed.
- Design or improve organizational processes.
Requirements:
- Prototyping Skills: Ability to create simple, aesthetically pleasing prototypes in a fast-paced environment using rapid prototyping.
- Design Mindset: Passion for insightful design thinking, continuous exploration, and rapid experimentation.
- Problem-Solving Approach: Strong interest in understanding the unique challenges of each organization or product and collaborating to find effective solutions.
- Pragmatic Design Process: Alignment with our approach of using design sprints for better product design - keeping things practical and free from unnecessary design jargon.
- Continuous Learning: Regularly tracking and learning modern web and mobile UI patterns, interaction design, visual design, and information architecture with a focus on simplicity.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written communication skills, ability to give and receive constructive feedback, and effectiveness in working within an agile team.
