Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Senior Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will oversee procurement processes, including evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. You will also analyze procurement data to drive efficiencies and ensure an uninterrupted supply of high-quality materials and equipment in adherence to company standards and policies. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors will be essential to ensure operational success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders and overseeing end-to-end procurement processes
- Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and building effective supplier relationships
- Experience in Contract Negotiation with a focus on achieving cost efficiency and value
- Exceptional Analytical Skills for monitoring procurement trends and data-driven decision-making
- Demonstrated expertise in Procurement and supply chain optimization, especially importing machines, etc., from China and Europe
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Prior experience in the material handling equipment or supply chain industry is a plus
