Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Procurement Specialist based in Hyderabad. The Senior Procurement Specialist will oversee and manage procurement processes, issue purchase orders, evaluate supplier performance, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient sourcing. The role will also involve conducting thorough analyses for supplier selection and optimizing procurement strategies in alignment with organizational goals. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders and coordinating procurement processes
- Expertise in Supplier Evaluation and assessing vendor performance
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation to ensure cost-effective and beneficial agreements
- Advanced Analytical Skills to assess data and optimize supply chain strategies
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in Procurement processes and strategies
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using procurement tools and software is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a relevant certification is a plus
