Role Description
This is a full-time, role located in Canada for a Senior Procurement Manager, responsible for overseeing procurement operations. The Senior Procurement Manager will evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and monitor procurement activities. The role also involves analyzing industry trends to drive cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and assessing vendor performance
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and establishing favorable agreements
- Capability in Procurement and managing sourcing processes efficiently
- Experience in Contract Management, including adherence to compliance and terms
- Excellent Analytical Skills for evaluating procurement data and industry trends
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience with procurement software and tools is a plus
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and practices in Canada is an advantage
