Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division for a Senior Procurement Engineer. The role involves evaluating supplier performance, managing procurement processes, preparing purchase orders, issuing and managing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Senior Procurement Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and contributing to the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality surface treatment solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience with Supplier Evaluation and managing supplier relationships
- Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders and ensuring timely procurement
- Strong Analytical Skills for cost optimization and decision-making
- Clear and effective Communication skills for vendor negotiations and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in creating and handling Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work independently
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, preferably in abrasives or industrial equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
