Responsibilities
Provide support for department and business unit personnel by assisting with the preparation of plan design proposals and illustrations, benchmarking plan design features, and contributing to the creation of marketing and training materials. Manage various tasks related to retirement plan training and marketing, while proactively recognizing and addressing the needs of both internal and external clients to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Create proposals and illustrations based on requested proposals of plan design changes utilizing standard processes and procedures. Execute billable projects with standard processes and procedures.
- Create plan design benchmarking materials utilizing standard databases along with working with Data & Analytics on non-self-serve information.
- Create illustrations and reports for plan health and participant outcome impacts due to plan design changes utilizing standard processes.
- Assist with onboarding of new employees including the training plan and structure of onboarding experience.
- Assist with production and maintenance of marketing support materials and services as assigned.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with client service teams and consultants to gain a clear understanding of the plan sponsors’ goals and objectives to effectively implement in proposal and/or illustration.
- Develop, document, and maintain communication, documentation, and training through a variety of methods and mediums on assigned topics.
Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years of experience (preferably in financial analysis, plan design, or actuarial work, or equivalent) demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Requires ability to work independently, good organization, prioritization, customer service, consultative, and strong oral and written communication.
- Good Excel skills and exposure to programming languages including SQL and VBA preferred.
- Strong organizational skillset to monitor needs of thought capital resources along with oversight of onboarding experience of all new hires.
