Job Title: Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Architect (Practice )

Role Objective:
As a Technical Architect within the Oracle Practice, you will be the bridge between business complexity and technical elegance. You will lead the "solutioning" phase—designing robust architectures that synchronize Oracle Fusion ERP with diverse ecosystems (On-Prem, Azure, AWS, GCP) while ensuring the foundational Cloud Tenet is optimized for performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Drafting & Architecture:
- Lead the design of end-to-end technical landscapes for global Oracle Cloud ERP transformations.
- Architect hybrid integration patterns that handle complex On-Prem to Cloud and Cloud to Cloud (Hyperscaler) transactions.
- Infrastructure & Tenet Management:
- Full ownership of the OCI Tenet configuration, including VCN setup, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and security lists.
- Provision and optimize environments for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Visual Builder (VBCS).
- Cross-System Data Orchestration:
- Design multi-source data ingestion strategies, ensuring seamless data integrity between legacy on-prem systems and modern cloud apps.
- Implement high-volume data synchronization using OIC, SOAP/REST APIs, and FBDI.
- Analytics & Reporting Strategy:
- Conduct requirement-gathering workshops to translate finance/operations needs into technical report specs.
- Architect comprehensive reporting suites using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
- Practice Leadership:
- Standardize "Reusable Assets" (integration adapters, VBCS templates) to accelerate delivery.
- Act as the final technical authority for RFP responses and solution estimates.
Required Technical Skills
- Oracle PaaS Mastery: Expert-level hands-on experience with OIC (Gen 2/3) and VBCS.
- Integration Patterns: Deep knowledge of file-based vs. real-time integrations and handling connectivity with Hyperscalers (e.g., Azure Service Bus, AWS S3).
- Reporting Stack: Proven ability to build complex Financial Reports (FRS) and custom BI Publisher layouts.
- Security & Governance: Proficient in SSO, OAuth 2.0, and SAML for secure cross-platform communication.
- Development Tools: Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript (for VBCS/JET), and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins).
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years in Oracle Technical Architecture.
- Prior experience in a consulting "Practice" role, focusing on internal capability building
Pre-sales & Strategic Growth Responsibilities
- C-Suite Advisory: Act as the technical "trusted advisor" during the sales cycle, translating complex cloud architecture into business value for CFOs and CTOs.
- Rapid Prototyping (POCs): Build high-impact Proof of Concepts (POCs) in VBCS and OIC to demonstrate feasibility for complex multi-source data integrations during the bidding phase.
- Solution Storyboarding: Create visual architecture diagrams that illustrate how data flows from Hyperscalers (AWS/Azure) and On-Premise legacy systems into Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Market Sensing: Partner with Oracle product management to stay ahead of the roadmap (e.g., AI/ML features in OIC) and incorporate these into the Practice’s service offerings.
Presentation & Soft Skills
- Ability to whiteboard complex Hybrid Cloud scenarios (e.g., real-time sync via OCI Streaming or Kafka).
- Strong verbal communication for defending architectural choices during Architectural Review Boards (ARB).
- Experience in "Solution Defensiveness"—explaining why a specific PaaS approach is superior to custom off-platform builds etc
