🚨 Hiring: Senior Precision Mechanism Design Engineer (Defence)
📍 Hubli / Dharwad | On-site preferred | Contract / Full-time
We Astr Defence Pvt Ltd, are building a high-precision rifle platform and are looking for a hands-on expert who can take ownership of mechanism design, tolerance stack-up, and interference elimination.
This is not a CAD modeling role — we need someone who can solve real engineering problems at micron-level precision.

🔧 What You’ll Work On:
• Trigger, bolt, locking & feed mechanisms
• High-cycle, load-bearing precision assemblies
• Zero-interference design with perfect fit & function
• Tolerance stack-up (worst-case + statistical)
• Prototype validation & shopfloor problem-solving

🎯 What We Expect:
•5+ years in precision mechanical design
• Strong expertise in GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Experience in defence / aerospace / automotive mechanisms
• Deep understanding of fits, clearances, and manufacturing realities
• Ability to independently close design loops
