Job description:
AZE Engineering is a forward-thinking design and engineering firm specializing in innovative construction projects. We are looking for skilled Precast Detailers with minimum 8 years of experience. You will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and ensuring accurate documentation for precast and glass reinforced concrete (GRC) cladding works. Whether you are looking to sharpen your technical detailing skills or lead a coordination team, we have a clear path for your growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed precast and GRC cladding shop drawings in compliance with project specifications.
- Develop accurate 2D/3D models using AutoCAD (working knowledge of Revit is a strong advantage).
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and structural engineers to resolve design and technical issues.
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to ensure alignment with cladding requirements.
- Generate cutting lists, fixing details, connection details, and material take-offs.
- Ensure drawings are produced on time to meet project schedules and maintain revision control.
- Oversee the detailing workflow for entire project phases, mentor junior staff, and identify fabrication optimizations to save time and materials.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a detailer specifically in Precast and GRC.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Revit or Tekla is a plus).
- A solid grasp of construction drawings and detailing standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver under tight deadlines.
- 8+ years of experience with a track record of leading complex detailing projects and managing junior teams.
