Role Description
The Senior PR Executive (Press) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bandra, Mumbai.
This role involves:
* Developing and executing press strategies.
* Drafting and distributing press releases.
* Pitching stories to media outlets.
* Nurturing strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
* Coordinating media coverage for designer clients.
* Managing press events and appearances.
* Monitoring press mentions to ensure consistent and accurate brand representation.
* Creating press materials and maintaining media databases.
* Tracking campaign performance.
* Collaborating with internal teams to align messaging with broader brand objectives.
* Overseeing junior team members and ensuring timely delivery of PR activities.
* Providing strategic input on client communication plans.
Qualifications
* Strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, including experience working with fashion media.
* Excellent communication and writing skills, enabling clear, persuasive, and accurate press materials.
* Experience creating and managing press releases, including ideation, drafting, and distribution.
* Ability to plan and execute press campaigns, events, and media outreach with attention to detail and timelines.
* Strong media understanding and good relationships with journalists and editorial stylists.
* Prior experience in PR agencies or in-house communications, preferably in fashion.
* Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
* Strong networking abilities.
* Familiarity with digital and social media PR.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and capable of multitasking.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of PR.
