Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior PowerBI Developer based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior PowerBI Developer will design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI to support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include analyzing data requirements, creating data models, ensuring seamless integration with databases, and troubleshooting system issues. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Senior PowerBI Developer will transform business needs into actionable insights while maintaining high data integrity and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Build efficient data models using DAX, Power Query, and best practices
- Integrate data from various sources including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and SQL databases
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure environment
- Optimize report performance and data refresh strategies
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security best practices
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of Experience in PowerBI development
- Experience in Retail industry is a huge plus
