Job Title : Senior Power BI Developer – Marketing & Sales Analytics

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence team to support Sales and Marketing as well various other departments analytics initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for developing interactive dashboards, performing data analysis, and delivering insights that support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for sales and marketing teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.
- Develop efficient data models using best practices (Star Schema).
- Write optimized DAX measures and calculated columns for complex analytical requirements.
- Perform data transformation and ETL processes using Power Query (M).
- Integrate data from multiple sources such as CRM systems, SQL databases, APIs, Excel, and cloud platforms.
- Monitor and manage Power BI Service environments, including datasets, scheduled refreshes, and gateways.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage data access permissions.
- Ensure performance optimization of reports and datasets.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other leadership teams to understand reporting needs.
- Provide data-driven insights through dashboards and storytelling.
- Maintain documentation and ensure data quality and governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI performance or refresh issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or related analytical discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in Power BI development or Business Intelligence.
- Strong experience in data visualization and analytical reporting.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required:
- Advanced Power BI Development
- Strong DAX and Data Modeling skills
- Power Query (M) for data transformation
- Experience with SQL databases
- Data modeling concepts (Star Schema / Snowflake)
- Power BI Service administration (Workspace, Gateway, Refresh)
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce, Zoho, or CRM data sources
- Knowledge of Python / R / Power Automate
- Experience with Azure Data services or APIs
SOFT SKILLS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive and self-driven mindset
