Job Description: PostgreSQL DBA - AWS
Location: Hyderabad (Onsite)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Enterprise Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise-grade PostgreSQL environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS (Aurora, RDS PostgreSQL), automation tools, and scripting, along with excellent communication and ITIL process knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in enterprise environments.
Manage AWS Aurora and RDS PostgreSQL instances, ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
Implement automation for database operations using Shell Scripting, Ansible, and Terraform.
Develop and maintain scripts in Python for monitoring, reporting, and automation tasks.
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.
Conduct regular backups, patching, upgrades, and security hardening.
Provide technical guidance and documentation for database standards and best practices.
Required Skills
*Strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration (installation, configuration, upgrades, replication, backup/recovery).
*Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora and RDS PostgreSQL.
*Proficiency in Shell Scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
*Solid understanding of ITIL framework and enterprise support processes.
*Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
