Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PLC Programmer located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Senior PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying PLC-based automation systems and software. Key responsibilities include programming, testing, debugging, and implementing automated systems, maintaining and troubleshooting existing PLC systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes. The candidate will also ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while documenting technical processes and solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting for industrial automation systems
- Strong skills in control systems design, implementation, and maintenance
- Experience with SCADA systems, HMIs, and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical information effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
- Previous experience in the industrial automation or manufacturing industry is preferred
