Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Planning Manager to join our Head Office in Raipur and lead the planning function across multiple major projects. This is a high-responsibility leadership role for a planning professional who can independently manage, monitor, and drive the planning and project control systems for 5–7 large construction projects simultaneously.
The candidate will be responsible for creating baseline programmes, tracking progress, identifying delays, driving recovery plans, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring strong planning control from Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the complete planning and scheduling function from Head Office for 5–7 ongoing projects
• Prepare and review baseline programmes, catch-up plans, target programmes, and micro schedules
• Develop project schedules using MS Project / Primavera
• Monitor project progress against approved timelines and identify delays / critical issues
• Coordinate with site teams, procurement, billing, and management for effective planning inputs and follow-up
• Conduct weekly and monthly planning reviews with project teams
• Drive look-ahead planning, milestone tracking, and execution sequencing
• Ensure proper linkage of planning with procurement schedules, manpower deployment, material flow, and execution priorities
• Support management with MIS, dashboards, delay analysis, and recovery strategy
• Standardize planning systems and reporting formats across projects
• Guide and mentor project planning engineers / planning managers at site level
• Work closely with top management for project monitoring and timely decision-making
Candidate Profile
• Minimum 13 years of experience in planning and project controls in building construction / EPC projects
• Strong experience in large-scale projects such as medical colleges, hospitals, high-rise buildings, institutional campuses, townships, commercial buildings, etc.
• Must have strong command over project scheduling, monitoring, delay identification, and recovery planning
• Hands-on expertise in MS Project is essential; Primavera knowledge will be an added advantage
• Ability to handle planning for multiple projects from Head Office level
• Strong coordination, leadership, and reporting skills
• Capable of driving planning discipline across site teams
• NICMAR qualification preferred
• Candidate with stable background in reputed construction / EPC companies will be preferred
