The Opportunity
Due to our continued success in securing large-scale and complex projects, we are now looking for an experienced
Senior Piping Checker to join our growing Bangalore office.

Responsibilities
- Coordination with other PM Group offices to Understanding the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, hours etc.
- Participate Model Design Coordination Meeting.
- Interface with BIM & Design leads
- Produce and check complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches and electronic 3D models for equipment in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures.
- Interrogating Navis model with designers and disciplines leads
- Communicate with Designers, leads and wider Project team
- Deliverable checking, progress reporting and forecasting
Key skills for Checker role:
- Suitable API and Bio design experience
- Has a combination of design software competency and checking experience (flexibility to move between roles if required)
- Flexible to adapt to new ways of working and follow current PM checking practices and procedures
- Apply sound judgment when interpreting requirements and determining the appropriate level of checks and reviews
- Experience in checking for different level of detailing (LOD 200/250/350)
- Ability to challenge design philosophy for Design correctness
- Model accuracy

Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years’ piping design experience with 5 to 8 years as Lead Piping Design Engineer / Checker
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in the use of Intergraph’s SP3D (S3D)/CADWorx / Plant 3D
- Experience on International projects working remotely from India with an EPC company.
- Sector experience- Pharmaceutical/ Biopharmaceutical/ Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).
- Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
