Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Physical Design Engineer located in Bengaluru South. The role involves detailed physical design tasks, including design implementation, floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and optimization. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality physical design results, ensuring adherence to performance, power, and area specifications.
Qualifications
- Expertise in physical design tasks such as floorplanning, placement, routing, and clock tree synthesis
- Proficiency in timing analysis, power optimization, and layout verification methodologies
- Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence) and scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, TCL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of semiconductor design processes and emerging technologies
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in a similar role or in the semiconductor industry is an advantage
