Role Description
The Senior Pharmacist will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including managing inventory, dispensing medications, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities include providing guidance to junior pharmacists, offering consultations to customers, and maintaining accurate records of prescription and patient history. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and educating customers about proper medication use. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pharmaceuticals, Prescription Fulfillment, and Medication Management
- Strong understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Pharmaceutical Code of Ethics
- Proficiency in Customer Service, Patient Consultation, and Counselling
- Experience in Team Leadership and Staff Management
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D. preferred)
- State licensure as a registered pharmacist
- Familiarity with digital tools for managing inventory and medical records
- Knowledge of preventive healthcare and wellness practices is an advantage
