We're Hiring | Senior Sales Executive – Ethanol Supply (Pharma)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a high-performing Sales professional with 10+ years of experience in B2B/bulk commodity sales to manage and grow ethanol supply to pharmaceutical companies. The ideal candidate has strong pharma procurement connects, a proven deal-closing track record, and hands-on experience in ethanol, Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), Absolute alcohol (AA), Rectified Spirit (RS), and Specially Denatured Spirits (SDS) preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and connect with pharmaceutical companies requiring ethanol supply across the assigned territory.
- Timely recovery of payments from customers.
- Generate new business through existing pharma industry contacts and regular on-ground field visits.
- Acquire, process, and follow up on bulk ethanol orders from pharma clients, ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment.
- Manage high-value client accounts — handle pricing discussions, negotiations, and relationship continuity.
- Forecast client ethanol requirements and coordinate proactive supply planning with internal teams.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across ethanol grades, volumes, and allied products.
- Liaise with supply chain and logistics to ensure seamless, on-time order execution and delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B/bulk sales — ethanol, ENA, Absolute alcohol (AA), Rectified Spirit (RS) and Specially Denatured Spirits (SDS) preferred.
- Prior experience supplying ethanol to pharmaceutical companies is a key advantage.
- Established network with pharma procurement heads, purchase managers, and key decision-makers.
- Proven track record in closing high-value bulk deals and consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with a target-driven, results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for regular client visits across the territory.
