Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer with strong expertise in performance testing, scripting, monitoring, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and SAP performance testing (SAP GUI & SAP Web).

This role requires deep technical capability in workload modeling, performance diagnostics, and system optimization, along with strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Testing & Engineering :

• Develop, enhance, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Design and implement performance scripts for SAP GUI, SAP Web, and enterprise applications.
• Plan and execute Load, Stress, Endurance, Volume, and Scalability testing.
• Translate Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) into measurable performance test scenarios.
  
  

Workload Modeling & Scenario Design

• Analyze business workflows, user behavior, and production metrics to design workload models.
• Build performance test scenarios aligned with system architecture and business goals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute performance tests.
  
  

Monitoring & Diagnostics

• Monitor application performance using tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to determine root causes of performance issues.
  
  

Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Perform deep analysis of test results to identify system constraints.
• Provide optimization recommendations and performance tuning insights.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and present findings to & Coordination :
• Work closely with developers, architects, SAP teams, DevOps engineers, and project managers.
• Participate in performance tuning discussions and optimization initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members where required.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills :

• 7 to 9 years of experience in Performance Testing & Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with LoadRunner (Web, SAP GUI, SAP Web protocols).
• Good working knowledge of Apache JMeter.
• Experience with APM and monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Solid understanding of SAP landscapes and SAP performance behavior.
• Experience in workload modeling, scenario design, and performance test execution.
• Good understanding of APM tools, metrics, logs, traces, and dashboards.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques across application, database, and server layers.
