About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Performance Marketing Manager to own paid media, analytics, CRM, and email automation end to end. This is a hands-on in-house role for someone who can build, execute, optimize, and report without relying on a large team or agency structure.
The ideal candidate has worked in a startup, scale-up, small business, or lean founder-led company. This role is not suited to candidates whose experience is primarily agency-side, large corporate, or highly siloed.
Strong knowledge of Zoho CRM and the broader Zoho ecosystem is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media & Growth
- Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant paid social channels.
- Manage budgets, bidding, audiences, creative testing, landing page performance, and channel mix to improve ROAS, CAC, CPA/CPL, and lead quality.
- Own acquisition performance from traffic generation through lead capture, nurture, conversion, and revenue contribution.
- Run practical experiments across ads, landing pages, forms, offers, and funnel steps.
Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
- Own GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion events, UTM governance, pixels, and cross-platform tracking accuracy.
- Connect paid media performance to CRM outcomes, pipeline, revenue, and customer acquisition metrics.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker / Looker Studio, Zoho Analytics, or similar tools.
- Automate clear reporting for stakeholders across CAC, LTV, ROAS, CPL, conversion rates, lead quality, and revenue attribution.
CRM, Email Automation & Funnel Operations
- Build, manage, and optimize CRM workflows, lead capture, lead routing, segmentation, tagging, lead scoring, and sales handoff.
- Create and improve email nurture sequences, re-engagement campaigns, onboarding flows, and lifecycle automations.
- Use CRM and email performance data to improve targeting, retargeting, campaign messaging, and funnel conversion.
- Maintain data hygiene across lead sources, lifecycle stages, lists, tags, fields, and reporting logic.
- Work with Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Marketing Automation, Zoho Forms, Zoho Analytics, or related Zoho tools where relevant.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with founders, product, customer success, and engineering/web teams.
- Improve lead quality, follow-up speed, campaign tracking, CRO, CRM processes, and marketing-to-sales visibility.
- Translate performance data into practical actions that improve growth, pipeline, and revenue.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience after graduation in performance marketing, growth marketing, analytics, CRM, or marketing automation. 4 out of them must be at a startup.
- Must have worked in a startup, scale-up, small business, or lean in-house growth environment.
- Must have direct in-house ownership of outcomes such as leads, CAC, ROAS, CPL, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and reporting accuracy.
- Not suitable for candidates whose background is primarily agency-side, large corporate, or limited to managing isolated campaign tasks.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and paid social platforms, especially Meta, LinkedIn, and/or TikTok.
- Strong experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, Looker / Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
- Hands-on CRM and email automation experience, including workflows, nurture journeys, segmentation, routing, and reporting.
- Strong Zoho CRM / Zoho ecosystem knowledge is highly preferred.
- Commercially minded, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning both strategy and execution.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Marketing Automation, Zoho Forms, Zoho Analytics, or Zoho Flow.
- SQL, BigQuery, CRO, lifecycle marketing, lead scoring, revenue operations, or sales automation experience.
- Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership in a high-growth business.
What Success Looks Like
- Paid media performance improves across ROAS, CAC, CPA/CPL, conversion rate, and lead quality.
- Tracking and reporting clearly show where traffic, leads, pipeline, and revenue come from.
- CRM and email automations improve lead capture, nurturing, segmentation, follow-up, and conversion.
- The person operates independently in a lean business and brings a startup mindset: ownership, speed, accountability, and practical execution.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, commerce or MBA. Computer science graduate or post graduate degree is highly preferred.
