Senior Performance Acquisition Manager
D2C Subscription E-commerce | Meta Ads Specialist
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:30 PM 4:30 AM IST

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Performance Marketing Manager with deep-rooted expertise in D2C subscription-based e-commerce. This is not a strategic oversight role we need someone who lives inside ad accounts, drives measurable results, and has a proven track record of scaling Meta Ads for a single D2C subscription brand at meaningful spend levels.
The ideal candidate has spent the majority of their career in the D2C subscription space, understands the full subscriber lifecycle (acquisition, LTV, churn, cohort payback), and brings battle-tested Meta Ads execution skills that cannot be delegated or automated away.
Non-Negotiables — You Must Have These
- D2C Subscription Brand Experience: Hands-on marketing experience specifically within a subscription-based D2C e-commerce brand (not generic e-commerce or agency multi-client work)
- Meta Ads Mastery at Scale: Personally managed $10K+/week in Meta ad spend for a single D2C brand — not via delegation, automation tools, or shared agency budgets
- Execution-First Mindset: You are in the ads manager daily — building, optimizing, testing — not just reviewing dashboards or directing a team
- Subscription Business Fluency: Deep understanding of LTV, churn rates, cohort payback windows, and how they inform paid acquisition strategy
- 8+ Years in Meta Ads: Specifically for D2C e-commerce brands with consistent, verifiable spend ownership
Key Responsibilities
Meta Ads (Primary Channel)
- Own Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) end-to-end for a subscription D2C brand, with full accountability for performance outcomes
- Personally build, manage, and scale campaigns at $10K+/week spend — direct hands-on execution required
- Develop and iterate on creative strategies, audience structures, and funnel architectures optimized for subscription acquisition
- Continuously test ad creatives, copy, landing pages, and offers to improve CAC and trial-to-subscriber conversion rates
- Monitor subscription-specific KPIs: CAC, LTV:CAC ratio, payback period, churn impact on paid cohorts
Google Ads
- Lead Google Ads strategy including Performance Max (PMAX) and Google Shopping campaigns
- Build and optimize PMAX structures: asset group segmentation, audience signals, and bidding strategies
- Manage Shopify product feeds and ensure seamless catalog integration for dynamic campaigns
Analytics & Reporting
- Own performance reporting — pull data, build pivot tables, identify trends, and translate insights into budget decisions
- Clearly articulate and act on the difference between platform-reported ROAS and blended/true ROAS
- Use GA4 and Google Tag Manager for tracking, attribution, and funnel analysis
- Align paid acquisition strategy with subscription goals: LTV optimization, churn reduction, and cohort-level profitability
Must-Have Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on Meta Ads management specifically for D2C e-commerce brands
- Proven, verifiable experience personally managing $10K+/week Meta ad spend for a single D2C subscription brand
- Demonstrated expertise in D2C subscription business models — you understand the metrics, not just the ads
- Deep execution-level Meta Ads skills: campaign architecture, creative testing, audience strategy, bid management
- Strong experience with Performance Max (PMAX) and Google Shopping campaigns
- Solid understanding of the Shopify ecosystem including product feeds and catalog-based campaigns
- Mastery of ROAS metrics — platform vs. blended — and attribution nuances in a subscription context
- Advanced data skills: Excel/Google Sheets, pivot tables, performance reporting, and budget modeling
- Proficiency in GA4 and Google Tag Manager
Nice to Have
- Experience with subscription platforms: Recharge, Klaviyo, or similar tools
- Familiarity with server-side tracking solutions (e.g., Addingwell or similar)
- Experience with Google Demand Gen and YouTube Action campaigns
- 8+ years managing Google Ads for D2C brands
- Background in outdoor, sporting goods, or enthusiast/hobby subscription brands
