NullStrike Security is seeking an experienced Senior Penetration Tester to lead enterprise penetration testing engagements from initial scoping through final report delivery. This role combines technical leadership, client communication, project management, and mentorship. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality assessments while guiding junior consultants and maintaining strong client relationships.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Penetration Tester.
- Must be based in India.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience leading enterprise penetration testing engagements.
- Ability to independently scope, plan, execute, and deliver penetration testing projects.
Required Certifications
Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications:
- CREST CRT, CCT INF, CCT APP, or equivalent
- Hack The Box Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (HTB CPTS)
- HTB Certified Web Exploitation Expert (CWEE)
- OffSec WEB-300 (AWAE/OSWE)
Core Responsibilities
- Lead penetration testing engagements from scoping to final delivery.
- Conduct client discovery and scoping meetings.
- Define testing scope based on business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Create project plans and testing schedules.
- Coordinate multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Manage and mentor junior penetration testers.
- Review technical findings and penetration testing reports.
- Present findings to technical teams, executives, and compliance stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet company quality standards.
- Continuously improve internal methodologies and testing playbooks
Compliance Knowledge
Candidates should understand how penetration testing supports compliance frameworks, including:
- SOC 2 Type II (Preferred)
- HIPAA (Preferred)
- PCI DSS
The successful candidate should be able to translate compliance requirements into an appropriate penetration testing scope and communicate those requirements effectively to clients.
