🎯 Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced PCB Hardware Design Engineer with deep expertise in complete schematic design and hardware architecture. The candidate will lead the design and development of complex electronic systems, ensuring robust, reliable, and manufacturable PCB solutions.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🔹 Schematic Design & Hardware Architecture
Own and develop complete schematic designs for complex electronic systems
Define hardware architecture based on product requirements
Perform component selection, simulation, and validation
Interpret and apply datasheets, reference designs, and standards

🔹 PCB Design & Layout Oversight

Guide and review multi-layer PCB layouts (4–16+ layers)
Define:
Stack-up design
Signal routing strategies
Controlled impedance requirements
Ensure compliance with:
Signal Integrity (SI)
Power Integrity (PI)
EMI/EMC guidelines

🔹 Embedded Hardware Integration

Work with microcontrollers/processors such as:
STMicroelectronics (STM32)
Microchip Technology (PIC)
ARM-based systems from Arm Holdings
Design interfaces for:
UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
USB, Ethernet, DDR (if required)
Collaborate with firmware teams for integration

🔹 Validation, Testing & Debugging

Lead hardware bring-up and debugging activities
Perform root cause analysis of hardware failures
Use lab tools:
Oscilloscope
Logic Analyzer
Multimeter
Validate performance against design specifications

🔹 Manufacturing & Production Support

Ensure DFM, DFA, and DFT compliance
Work closely with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors
Review:
Gerber files
BOM (Bill of Materials)
Assembly drawings
Support NPI and pilot production builds

🔹 Leadership & Documentation

Mentor junior engineers and review schematics/layouts
Conduct design reviews and technical discussions
Maintain detailed design documentation and reports
Ensure adherence to IPC standards and best practices

🧠 Required Skills

Strong expertise in:
Analog & Digital Circuit Design
Power supply design (SMPS, DC-DC, LDOs)
Deep knowledge of:
Schematic capture and circuit analysis
High-speed PCB design concepts
Hands-on experience with:
Multi-layer PCB design (4–16+ layers)
Proficiency in tools:
Altium Designer
Cadence Allegro / OrCAD

➕ Preferred Skills

Experience with:
High-speed interfaces (USB, Ethernet, DDR)
RF or mixed-signal design
Knowledge of:
EMI/EMC compliance and testing
Thermal management techniques
