Role Description
As a Senior PCB Designer at GravityGen Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex PCB layouts, including all necessary reviews and revisions. Your day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product specifications, creating detailed designs using EDA tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and troubleshooting design issues during prototyping or production. This is a full-time role that requires on-site presence at our Hyderabad office. You will play a critical role in shaping the electronic designs for a variety of cutting-edge projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PCB layout design tools like Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, or similar EDA software.
- Knowledge of high-speed PCB design, impedance control, and multilayer stack-ups.
- Experience with schematic capture, component placement, routing, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC guidelines, IPC standards, and signal integrity analysis.
- Ability to perform design validation and troubleshooting during prototyping and production.
- Experience working in collaboration with mechanical, software, and hardware engineers as part of a product development team.
- Familiarity with compliance testing and quality assurance processes for electronic systems.
- Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to document and present design justifications clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong track record in PCB design and product development.
