Role Description The Senior Payroll Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting and validating employee data, calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll disbursement. The specialist will manage payroll taxes, statutory compliance, and garnishments, while maintaining precise payroll records and preparing regular reports for management and audit purposes. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with HR and finance teams, addressing employee payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and supporting process improvements and system enhancements in payroll services. The role also requires staying current with relevant labor laws, taxation regulations, and organizational policies to ensure ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing, with experience handling end-to-end payroll cycles.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Payroll Taxes and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Payroll Services delivery, including vendor coordination and system-based payroll operations.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Garnishments and other statutory deductions, ensuring accurate application and documentation.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; professional payroll or HR certifications are an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in payroll software and Excel, strong numerical and analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in a senior or specialist payroll role, preferably within a large or multi-location organization.
