Job Overview
- Position: Senior Payroll Executive
- Company: Dry Fruit House
- Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore (On-site)
- Experience Required: 3 – 5 years in end-to-end payroll & statutory compliance
- Education: Minimum Graduate (Degree in Commerce, Finance, or HR preferred)
- Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 Gross per month (Negotiable based on experience & current CTC)
- Work Schedule: 6 days a week | 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Deadline Management
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for all employees accurately and on time.
- Ensure strict adherence to monthly timelines for attendance tracking, salary computation, and final payouts.
- Handle full and final (F&F) settlements for exiting employees, including Gratuity computations.
Statutory Compliance & Portal Management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest statutory compliance laws for PF, ESI, and Gratuity.
- Handle full lifecycle portal operations: triggering, downloading, viewing, and enrolling challans on government portals (EPFO and ESIC).
- Coordinate the timely monthly deposit of PF and ESI contributions to avoid penalties.
- Manage employee enrollments, KYC updates, and grievances related to PF and ESI.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain pristine payroll registers, compliance trackers, and employee databases.
- Generate and present monthly variance reports, compliance status updates, and cost analyses to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Graduate degree.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of core experience in Indian payroll and compliance handling.
- Compliance Mastery: Thorough, practical understanding of EPF Act, ESI Act, and Payment of Gratuity Act.
- Technical Savvy: Expert-level skills in handling EPFO & ESIC government portals, payroll software, and Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Traits: Strong numerical aptitude, strict attention to deadlines, and absolute confidentiality.
